Model 8501 is a permeation analyzer that offers a cost effective solution for those who need accurate, uncomplicated measurement of oxygen transmission rates (OTR) through permeable films
 
 

Model 7000 is a permeation analyzer that measures trace Water Vapor Transmission Rates in packaging barrier films. The 7000 is also modular and will accept expansion modules for simultaneous analysis of multiple samples
 
 

Operational Principles:

Flat film samples are clamped in a diffusion chamber where test and carrier gases are allowed to permeate through the sample under tightly controlled conditions. Uniquely engineered sensors and sophisticated, software managed gas control and electronic systems deliver unsurpassed performance and accuracy. Oxygen or Water vapor transmission rates are displayed as either g/m2/day or g/100in2/day.
